Carol Goodwin, president of the Reclaimed Wood Council and executive vice president and co-owner of Goodwin Heart Pine Company, is an experienced speaker to consumer and professional audiences. She has presented at many national events including the 2003 Rinker Deconstruction International Conference, 2001 Boston Home Show, 2000 Florida AIA Conference, 1999 Restoration and Renovation Conference, 1996 National Quality Management Association Conference, 1995 National Wood Floor Association Annual Conference and the 1995 AIA National Conference.

Carol also conducts CEU seminars to provide, including architects, designers and contractors free CEUs upon completing a 2-hour interactive course. She presents the topic, “Specifying Antique and Reclaimed Woods for Architectural and Design Uses,” which teaches professionals how to compare characteristics of antique woods with more available standing timbers and how to evaluate variations in grades. She also presents a course about “Finished and Maintenance of Wood Flooring."
