Antique Longleaf is the outer boards of the River Recovered antique heart pine logs. Because it comes from the outer part of the log it has fewer knots, is lighter in color and has a blend of heartwood and sapwood that gives it natural color variation.

Old Florida comes from local hurricane damaged old-growth forests. These logs have more frequent and larger knots and less dense grain than heart pine that was cut 100 years ago for a more casual look.
More knots than river recovered heart pine. May come from old dock pilings, thinning of old-growth forests or a variety of sustainable sources. 95% heart content, some knots up to 2” and more frequent knots than River Recovered or Legacy Select.

Our Mahogany (specie Andiroba) was harvested in Costa Rica after hurricanes there took down the trees. It is a richer brown and has more consistent color than more commonly available species of Mahogany.
Consistent color, actual specie is Andiroba and hard like heart pine, was rescued from Costa Rica after hurricanes there took down the trees. 100% heart content, clear grade.

Walnut has darker browns for a more old world elegant floor. Goodwin buys sustainably harvested Walnut from the Mid-West.
Mostly consistent brown color, swirling grain, with few knots and up to 5% creamy sapwood streaks.
