Goodwin’s original Antique River-Recovered® Midnight Heart Pine stock came from the mysterious waters of the Savannah River. These woods withstand the elements.


Grade: Midnight

Grain: Mixture of mostly arching grain with some vertical pinstripes

Knots: Knots up to 1½”

Color: Rich, varied colors ranging from tans to darker chocolate tones

Heart: 95% heart face

Hardness: 1225 on the Janka scale; comparable to red oak (1290) & 29% more stable
